Although most of the emails I receive are very supportive (by far—I figured it out to about 93% positive to 7% negative), I still occasionally get a hateful email or two from people. I have maintained all along that the true haters—the people who tell me to kill myself or threaten me in some way—don’t really care about children or abuse survivors, and this email from Nick Casillas proves my point. I usually email these people back because I enjoy watching them blow a gasket when they realize I am not going to be cowed by their ranting and chest-beating. It’s just not going to happen. I always try to remain polite, which usually just makes them crazier.
Anyway, as we had been emailing back and forth, I pointed out that several abuse survivors had emailed me to thank me and tell me that my articles helped them to understand pedophilia better and even to find some peace, at which point our friend Nick proceeded to insult them, calling them idiotic. When I suggested I would like to let them know how Nick feels about them, he said this:
And you could tell all those idiots, I am glad they were abused. Leave my email too, stupid
There you have it. Proof positive. And since Nick insisted that I give out his email address, here you go:
If you do decide to email him, be careful. This guy is extremely aggressive and hate-filled, maybe even violent.
